Ceiling fans

So, I have some old fans from a remodel I'm doing. They are cosmetically ugly, but the motors were functional when they were removed from the ceiling. I have no use for them, but if any of you DIYers out there wanted them for a mash stirrer or some crazy stuff like that, you're welcome to them.

Maybe if you add a gear box! They have no power.

They would work nicely for a immersion cooler stirrer. Kinda like the the one I made, but would be for a bigger batch, like 20 gallons. MIne is a 20" box fan motor, maybe 4" across.

John Eaton, I think Chris Smith is referring to this video we watched. I don't know if all ceiling fans are comparable, but based on this, it looks feasible.

Ok, a grinder makes far more sense. Thats pretty cool. Gotta fire up the computer to find part 2. Can't click it on the phone.
